Carmella's Pizza and Grill Rebrand
For this project, I was tasked with rebranding the local restaurant, Carmella's Pizza and Grill. It is a well known pizza place with a vibrant clientele and hardworking staff. I wanted to highlight the familial feeling that you get when stepping into the restaurant. Family, down-to-earth, and classic were some of the keywords I kept in mind when re-designing this brand.
The Original Brand
The original works fine and it gets the job done! However, I thought the brand needed to reflect the community and family feeling that this restraurant has always had.
The Redesigned Brand Board
The keywords I kept in mind for the redesigned brand: family, community, authenticity. To create represent the restaurant's authenticity, I hand-lettered and hand-drew the logo with analog tools! Pizza is not made on Adobe Illustrator is it?

To support the brand, I created a new menu design, a fresh pizza box design, print advertisement posters, and digital banners.
For the Print Ad with a woman holding pizza, I decided to have my mother be the model. I wanted to highlight the amazing workers behind the counter who help create an atmosphere of rawness through the food. My mom is one of those! :)
