The Gallery Hotel
The Gallery Hotel is a faux boutique hotel that aims to inspire young adults interested in art. In this hotel, one can find fully themed rooms based on specific artists, art movements, and artistic techniques. Its purpose is to inform hotel stayers about art in depth. It’s also meant to be a place of relaxation for any artists. The Gallery Hotel wanted to showcase these ideas through strong branding based on the basics of art.
The Logo
Because this hotel is centered around art, I decided that the logo would be based on the basic building blocks of art creation. The logo is made from three basic shapes: a square, a circle, and a triangle. Lines, another basic item in art, are used to create the first letters of the hotel’s name (the T, the G, and the H) within the basic shapes. Red, yellow, and blue are primary colors, which is why I also used them for the logo. It’s all about the basics!
